Meet Your Doctor
Dr. Young Le graduated and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Bachelor of Science in Anatomy, and Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness from Parker College of Chiropractic (PCC) in Dallas, Texas, on January 12, 2007. Dr. Young had fulfilled her prerequisites prior to attending PCC on a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
During her undergraduate years, Dr. Young participated and served in offices of many extra-curricular activities. Some of which included the Asian American Student Association, Ballroom Club, and Alpha Phi Omega. Among a few of her honors, she received the President’s Special Recognition Award and the Outstanding Member Award of AASA.
At PCC, Dr. Young also participated in many extra-curricular activities where she held offices. She was a member of several professional affiliations: the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), International Chiropractic Association (ICA), Women Chiropractic Association (WCA), and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She was the 2006 treasurer for the Scuba Club, served in the 2004 Social Committee in the professional chiropractic sorority of Pi Lambda Chi, and served as the class mail representative during her time at PCC from 2003-2006. Dr. Young also participated in screenings to educate about chiropractic during Kids Day America and Freedom Festival 2006.
Dr. Young received Parker Honor Rolls and the Certificate of Completion of Nutritional Seminars. She had also completed 100 hours of pediatrics seminars and other Parker seminars. Her educational background includes over 350 hours of academics, 8 different adjusting techniques, and over 900 hours of clinical studies. Dr. Young is currently a member of the Parker Alumni Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA). Dr. Young is also certified in Acupuncture and specializes in myofascial release.
During her spare time, Dr. Young likes to spend time with her husband, family, friends, and Max, her Silky Terrier. She also enjoys working out, playing volleyball and tennis, shopping, cooking, reading, and traveling.
